| Mitsubishi Electric is the leading
manufacturer of mobile CCTV systems, available in both monochrome and colour versions,
used as driving safety aids for applications ranging from mining and quarrying to
recovery, refuse collection, waste management and any other applications where potential
danger lurks among the machines and equipment in operation.
They provide the positive step to help operators meet EC legislation and the respective
Health & Safety Executive's directive to install equipment to improve operator vision,
especially in mining and quarrying.
C-Vision mobile CCTV turns questionable manoeuvres into easily and safely accomplished
moves. The safety conscious designs are highly reliable, rugged and compact. They provide
perhaps the only safe mobile CCTV option for consideration bearing in mind leading edge
system technology and a meticulous organisation of not just sales but installation,
back-up and on-going support through its unique DK distributor Video Systemer.
Latest C-Vision system is the 12/24V operation monochrome CV-40.
The most cost effective and super-compact yet highly versatile and highly specified system
available on the market. CV-40 comes with a 4.5in monochrome monitor. Its camera, at half
the weight and volume of previous C-Vision cameras fits neatly into the tightest of
spaces. Highly sensitive incorporating a super wide angle lens for even safer viewing when
reversing. The compact and lightweight monitor conveniently sits on the dashboard or can
be roof mounted in the vehicle cab.
The CV-40 camera is easily mounted and positioned on the rear or side of
the vehicle, or both, depending on the application. It provides an improved and extensive
field of view, from directly below the camera to 15m horizontally away, enabling precise
vehicle manoeuvring from the cab, even in very low lighting conditions down to 0.3 lux.
The rugged camera is also waterproof and can incorporate an optional automatic stone and
debris protector for the lens when not in use.
Monitor features include automatic brightness control according to available light. An
added exposure supplement switch provides detail for silhouetted objects in view by auto
dimming in conjunction with the auto brightness control. The high quality CRT provides an
immediate, clear picture on switch-on and indicates a distance for objects viewed
on-screen. The monitor is also vibration and shock resistant.
COLOUR OPTIONS
C-Vision mobile CCTV systems now feature the additional highly
functional capability of colour viewing and a choice of three colour cameras for viewing
angle options. They provide major benefits for mining and quarrying applications. Colour
C-Vision provides a real world view through the camera as well as the major benefit of the
operator being able to differentiate between surfaces and obstacles on the road or terrain
that can be driven over, where monochrome may cause uncertainty. Notably, the colour
system easily picks out high visibility jackets!
Systems incorporate a supreme quality, light and compact, 6in TFT active matrix LCD colour
monitor which provides an impressive 719x234 pixels resolution. Brightness, contrast,
colour and tint controls are provided and the 12V DC design provides an instant picture on
switch-on and consumes just 8W in operation. It is rugged and able to withstand vibration
and shock up to 4.5g.
MEETING FUTURE REQUIREMENTS
All C-Vision systems are independently assessed for EC EMC
regulations compliancy and carry the CE Mark. They are the first such systems to carry the
Road Vehicle Regulations e Mark, meeting the 2002 regulations, when e marking will be
mandatory. |
